In 1979, the album Breakfast In America was the most popular album on the planet, with more than 20 million copies sold. Sales in Canada are of course there, with nearly 1 million copies sold, including more than 400,000 in Quebec. In the same year, Supertramp organized a huge tour in Europe and North America. It was during this tour that the album ‘Live in Paris’ was recorded. It was the same year that Montreal welcomed the British band to Jarry Park for 2 grandiose shows, with Jean-Luc Ponty as the opening act, which still mark the imagination of fans who had the pleasure of attending.
