Winona Linn is a poet, visual artist, performer, teacher and spoken word artist. Originally from Kingston, Ontario, Linn made a name for herself in the thriving poetry community of Halifax, Nova Scotia while attending the University of King’s College.
Linn’s visual art combines a variety of media; she is a talented illustrator, printmaker, and engraver, preferring currently to work in woodcut and linocut printmaking. She has also created installation art and mixed-media sculpture. Linn’s illustrations and prints appear frequently on clothing, posters, albums, and book covers.
